PartsMeet Cancellation Policy

Effective 2026-04-20. Applies to all orders placed on partsmeet.com.

1. Pre-shipment cancellations

An order can be cancelled free of charge any time before the seller buys a shipping label. Either party may initiate. The authorization on the buyer's card is released and no funds change hands.

2. After a label is purchased, before the parcel ships

Once a shipping label is purchased, a cancellation requires both parties to agree. If the parcel is still in the seller's possession and has not been scanned by the carrier, the seller may void the label and the order is cancelled with a full refund to the buyer. If the label cannot be voided, the cancellation must wait until the parcel is returned to the seller, at which point the order is cancelled and the buyer is refunded in full.

3. After the parcel ships

Once the parcel is in transit it cannot be cancelled. The buyer may refuse delivery and, when the parcel returns to the seller, request a refund under the Refund Policy. Return shipping and any customs re-export costs follow the allocation rules in the Refund Policy.

4. Seller no-ship

If the seller does not buy a label within the ship-by window shown on the order, the buyer may cancel the order unilaterally from the order page and receive a full refund. Repeat seller no-ships result in automated seller restrictions and may affect payout eligibility.

5. Failed payment

If the buyer's payment authorization expires, fails, or is declined before the seller ships, the order is automatically cancelled and no further charges are attempted.

6. Pre-ship review holds

High-risk orders may be placed on a pre-ship review hold by PartsMeet before a label is purchased. If the review cannot be cleared within the review window, the order is cancelled and the buyer is refunded in full. Sellers are notified in the order thread when a hold is placed and when it is resolved.

7. Fees on cancellation

No platform fees are charged on cancelled orders. The buyer's authorization is released or refunded in full. Payment-network-assessed fees (currency conversion, cross-border card fees) are outside PartsMeet's control and are handled by the buyer's card issuer.

8. Chargebacks on cancelled orders

Because cancelled orders receive a full refund, chargebacks filed on cancelled orders are defended as duplicate refund requests, with the refund receipt, the cancellation timestamp, and the order timeline submitted as evidence to the card network.
