PartsMeet is a peer-to-peer marketplace where car enthusiasts buy and sell used and hard-to-find parts across the United States. Every order is covered by PartsMeet Protection: the buyer's payment is held by Stripe until the part arrives and the buyer confirms it matches the listing. Sellers get reliable payouts. Buyers are covered by PartsMeet Protection if something goes wrong.
US-based car enthusiasts in the JDM, Euro, and USDM communities. Think the R34 headlight assembly sitting in a garage in Anaheim, the 996 GT3 brake kit in Atlanta, the E46 M3 coilovers in Charlotte, or the 2JZ turbo in Houston. Parts that exist somewhere in the country but your local pick-a-part and Facebook Marketplace can't surface.
PartsMeet launches US-only. Both sellers and buyers must be located in the United States, all 50 states. Direct corridors from Japan, the United Kingdom, and continental Europe roll out later in 2026 once we have US dispute volume to learn from. Waitlist members in those countries are first in line when their corridor opens.
Sellers pay nothing: the listing price is exactly what the seller is paid. Buyers pay a PartsMeet Protection fee of 3% of the item price ($2.99 minimum, $99 cap), which funds the payment hold and buyer protection, plus standard Stripe payment processing fees at checkout. Every fee is shown as its own line before you pay.
Used and new aftermarket car parts: body panels, trim, engine components, suspension, wheels, interior parts, electronics, and similar automotive aftermarket items (MCC 5533). PartsMeet prohibits counterfeit parts, stolen goods, safety-restricted items (airbags, catalytic converters, weapons), and any part whose sale is restricted by the buyer or seller's jurisdiction.
